About Northern Cards

We have proudly been Canada's Greeting Card Company Since 1989, specializing in hand-drawn illustrations by exceptional artists.

Our brand was created by our co-founders, Hugh Clarkson and Jean-Paul Michael. They had a simple concept in mind - putting together an amazing assortment of greeting cards that would cater to consumer needs on a single display. Some thirty years and a hundred million cards later, that same concept holds true today.

Our Philosophy

We've built our reputation over many years, supplying the best quality, original greeting cards while offering a service that's second to none. We follow market trends to ensure our products remain current and are always exploring new artists for our hand-drawn and hand-painted range of cards.

Our high-quality cards are 6" x 8" (15cm x 20cm) and are printed with the environment in mind. Northern Cards has always been concerned about the environment; for 30 years we have only ever used recycled and sustainably resourced paper for all our printing and envelopes. Our cards are printed with vegetable-based inks and we limit our packaging whenever possible.

Each card is 15 pt Tango Coated Cover C1S card stock that's ultra-smooth and feels as good as it looks and comes with a premium quality square flapped envelope. If you buy multi-packs, you get extra envelopes included!
