The 5/16 Zinc Coated Copper Sleeve is used to create an eye termination on cable and is secured using a wire rope crimper, also known as a swagger. Hourglass shape grips the cable. Meets all US standards, ideal for the marine environment. BH-USA recommends 7 x 19 aircraft cable for boat lift applications. 7 x 19 means the rope has seven strands and there are nineteen wires in each strand. Always consider at least a 5:1 safety factor when figuring working loads.Wire rope sleeves are used to secure the ends of wire rope .
